Dr. Kelvin Griffin

Dr. Kelvin Griffin is an educator with over 22 years of professional experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Clark Atlanta University, a Master’s and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Mercer University, and holds a certification in Educational Leadership from the University of West Georgia.

 

Dr. Griffin is an expert and lecturer in the emerging science of soft skills and their importance in shaping the educational environment for students on all levels of K-12. He has a reputation for developing thriving learning atmospheres through implementing best practices in teacher advocacy, proactive parental communication, leadership development, and the incorporation of wrap-around services that meet student needs outside the classroom to ensure student success within the classroom.

Dr. Griffin collaborates with schools across the United States on curriculums designed to meet the needs of at-risk students; the implementation of strategic soft skill programs to increase student leadership, learning, communication, and conflict resolution; and, best leadership practices to improve school operations on all levels. A noted authority in at-risk students and urban environments, Dr. Griffin specializes in non-traditional learning and strategic alliances that help students meet and exceed standards.

Lorraine Johnson, M.P.A.
Program Developer

Lorraine Cochran-Johnson is a seasoned program developer, public speaker, and marketing professional with over two decades experience in program development.  Lorraine attended Troy University where she received a B.S. Degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice; a M.S. in The Administration of Criminal Justice; and, received the M.P.A. in Public Administration with a concentration in Economic Development and Grant Writing from Auburn University before attended John Marshall Law School.

 

Lorraine spent over a decade in newspaper sales and advertising with Creative Loafing Newspaper, where she specialized in conception and ideation and the development of visual media creative as a member of the Alternative Weekly Network. Additionally she is the founding publisher of Salons Unlimited Magazine. A publication that started with 5,000 print issues in Atlanta and grew to a 56,000 circulation in 31 U.S. cities in three years before being sold in 2010. In 2009 Lorraine became a founding member of United Front Media, a premiere film and visual media development company specializing in creative ideation and content development.

Lorraine has developed a wide variety of local, state, and national programs resulting in millions of dollars of funding and countless strategic partnerships across the United States.
